Ok,
A friend participted in the counts yesterday and up north the swamps that were available last season like dowdles and blacks swamp have no water in them. There seem to be plenty of birds around though.
I havnt heard anything else to date but feel free to post up any thing that you may have heard.

All the North east swamps are full again but with so much water the birds are dispersed.

My friends and relatives around the West Wimmera are reporting good numbers of birds. Mostly woodies and blackies.
